Stephen Lawrence

Born and raised in Van Buren, Arkansas. I graduated High School in 2004, and then attended college in Savannah, Georgia at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree. I returned to Arkansas where a few years later I met my wife Marissa. We have two children, Aiden and Sophia, and many pets. I have served my community the last ten years as a Law Enforcement Officer, and the last five of those years as a School Resource Officer helping the youth. I have rediscovered my camera, and the passion I have to create. Starting in 2024 I began the challenge of photographing as many bird species in Crawford County Arkansas over the space of a year. The final goal is to beat the historical record of 203 species!
